Sintrom (Acenocoumarol) is used to treat and prevent blood clots in the blood vessels associated with conditions such as pulmonary embolism and deep venous thrombosis. It is also used to treat atrial fibrillation, an abnormal heart rhythm that can cause the formation of blood clots. Furthermore, it is used to treat and prevent myocardial infarction (caused by reduced blood flow to the heart due to blood clots) and transient ischemic attacks (mini-strokes). Sintrom Side Effects:

Common mild side effects of this medication include diarrhea, fever, hives, itchy skin, loss of appetite, loss of hair, nausea, and vomiting. Contact your doctor if these mild side effects persist or worsen.

Sintrom Directions:

Take Sintrom tablets as prescribed by our doctor. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose for you. The dose may vary depending on blood clotting time as determined by laboratory tests, called an INR, performed regularly. Sintrom Precautions:

Before you start taking this medication, ensure that you inform your doctor about any prior or current medical conditions, including the following:
• Allergic reaction to acenocoumarol, other ingredients of Sintrom, or any other medicine;
