Naropin Information:

Naropin (generic name – Ropivacaine Hydrochloride) is an anesthesia for a spinal block, also called an epidural. It is used to prevent people from feeling pain during surgeries such as cesarean section. It is also used to relieve acute pain, such as postoperative pain or labor pain. Naropin belongs to the class of local anesthetics drugs called amides. It works by reducing sodium's permeability in nerve cells, preventing the generation of nerve impulses that send pain signals to the brain. As a result, patients can't feel pain.
