Galexos Precautions:
You should not use Galexos if you are allergic to Simeprevir. To make sure Galexos is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had hepatitis B, liver disease, liver transplant, or a sulfa allergy. It is unknown if this medication will harm a nursing baby. If you're planning to breastfeed while using this medication, talk to your doctor to discuss any possible risks. This medication may harm an unborn baby. You may need to have a negative pregnancy test before you begin treatment with this medication. Use effective birth control while using this medication, and for six months after treatment ends. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while taking Galexos. This medication may interact with grapefruit juice and cause unwanted side effects. Avoid the use of grapefruit products while using this medication. Several medications may interact with Galexos, especially St. John’s wort and Amiodarone. This is not a complete list of interactions and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements you are currently taking or have recently taken in order to reduce the risk of any possible interactions.
