Valcyte Information:

Buy Valcyte

Valcyte (generic name- Valganciclovir) is used to treat cytomegalovirus retinitis (a viral infection of the eyes caused by cytomegalovirus) in individuals who have acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It is also used to treat infections of the esophagus and the intestines caused by cytomegalovirus in individuals with HIV infection. Valcyte is also used to prevent cytomegalovirus diseases in patients who have undergone organ transplantation and are at risk of these cytomegalovirus infections due to reduced immunity. It belongs to a group of medications called antivirals. Valcyte on getting into the body gets converted into its active form ganciclovir, which works in the body by stopping the growth and multiplication of cytomegalovirus. Valcyte is not a cure for cytomegalovirus infections as it only helps to control the infections.
