Clindasol 1% cream's common side effects are skin rash, itching, redness, swelling, irritation or oiliness of the skin, stinging or burning feeling of the skin or other signs of irritation not present before use of this medicine. • Asthma;

• Pregnant or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant while using topical clindamycin, call your doctor;
• Scheduled for surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor that you are using topical clindamycin;
• Severe diarrhea caused by an antibiotic. Your doctor may tell you not to use topical clindamycin.

Inform your doctor and pharmacist about all the prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects.
