Tobrex Side Effects:
Possible side effects of this medication include excessive tearing, eye redness, eye discomfort, eyelid itching or swelling, increased sensitivity of the eyes to light, and temporary blurring of vision. Contact your doctor immediately if any of these side effects last or get worse.

Tobrex Directions:
This medication is available as an eye drop and an ointment. Please consult your doctor about the appropriate dosage, as it depends on various factors such as age, the severity of the infection, and response to treatment. For the eye drops, the generally recommended dose is 1 to 2 drops every 4 hours, while for the ointment, it is generally recommended to apply a half-inch ribbon into the affected eye(s) 2 or 3 times per day. Tilt your head back, place your finger on your cheek under the affected eye and gently pull down your lower eyelid to make a pouch between your lower eyelid and your eyeball. Close your eyes and look downward. Place one finger at the corner of your eye and apply gentle pressure to prevent the medication from seeping out. Do not use this medication longer than prescribed.
