You should not use Celestone Soluspan Injection if you are allergic to betamethasone, or if you have idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). To make sure Celestone is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease, high blood pressure, a thyroid disorder, a parasite infection that causes diarrhea, a herpes infections of the eyes, a muscle disorder such as myasthenia gravis, kidney disease, cirrhosis or other liver disease, mental illness or psychosis, a stomach ulcer, diverticulitis, colostomy or ileostomy, a perforation (hole or tear) in your stomach or intestines, malaria, or osteoporosis or low bone mineral density.
