Efudex Cream Information:
Efudex (generic name: Fluorouracil) works as it interferes with the growth of skin cells, and will fight against the known symptoms of actinic and solar keratosis. It may also be used to fight against the effects of superficial basal cell carcinoma.
The medication will cause the death of all cells in your skin that are growing fastest such as abnormal skin cells or other scaly overgrowths of skin on your body.
Efudex Cream Side Effects:
As with all medications, there may be a chance that you experience some side effects. These side effects are very rare, and it is not a regular occurrence for them to have been reported whilst a person is this medication. It is however important that you recognize the signs and the symptoms of a side effect and also you should be aware of an allergic reaction once you have taken this medication.
