Actos Side Effects - Actos Information - Buy Actos from Canada

Actos Information:

Actos (generic name: Pioglitazone HCl) is an once-a-daily oral drug for diabetes management. In patients with diabetes, the liver does not produce enough insulin, and therefore synthetic insulins are prescribed to regulate blood sugar levels and prevent a spiking in blood sugar. Actos is an insulin resistance reducer. It helps to regulate the blood sugar levels of diabetics, and works by regulating the levels of insulin produced in the body after eating. Actos is prescribed for type 2 diabetes only, as it is not effective in type 1 diabetes. Actos is commonly used in conjunction with other diabetes medications as part of a treatment program. Patients with diabetes commonly experience symptoms such as blurred vision, cuts/sores which take a long time to heal, itchy skin, yeast infections, leg pain, dry mouth and excessive thirst. Diabetes can be diagnosed by a simple blood test, and if you are diagnosed your doctor will discuss the most effective treatment for your particular condition.

Actos Side Effects:

As with any drug, there may be side effects from taking Actos. The most common side effect is hypoglycemia, when too much insulin is administered and this may cause shaking, increase or change in heartbeat, and changes in vision including blurry vision. Severe hypoglycemia can be fatal, or can cause damage to the brain. This can cause seizures (or fits) and possibly unconsciousness. Other side effects may include muscle pain, weight gain, headache, clod-like symptoms (sneezing, runny/stuff nose, cough) and tooth problems or pain. More serious side effects may include shortness of breath, mild exertion, fatigue, swelling of body parts, rapid weight gain, chest pain, generally feeling ill, nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, blurred vision, increased thirst, hunger, pale skin, bruising easily and feeling weak. If you experience any side effects you must seek medical attention immediately for safety.

Actos Directions:

You should follow the instructions of the doctor who prescribed Actos to you. Directions and dosage information can also be found on the pack or leaflet inside the pack. Actos comes in tablet form. You should swallow Actos whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. It is usually prescribed to be taken once a day. Do not break or crush the tablets. Actos should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat.

Actos Precautions:

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Actos, you should avoid taking it and inform your doctor. You must consult your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions including kidney or liver disease, history of heart attack or stroke, fluid retention or any heart conditions such as heart failure or heart disease. You must consult your doctor if you are taking any other medications as they may interact with Actos, including bosentan, delavirdine, diogoxin, gemfibrozil, midazolam, morphine, tolbutamide, vancomycin, trimethoprim, amiloride, cimetidine, fluconazole, nicardipine, rifampin, NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and seizure medications. Other diabetes medications when used in conjunction with Actos may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It is important that you inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding as Actos may cause harm to unborn and new born babies. It is important to know the signs of low blood sugar which can include dizziness, hunger, feeling weak, sweating and shaking.
