Compazine Side Effects:

The most common side effects of Compazine include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, stuffy nose, nausea, constipation, increased appetite, weight gain, blurred vision, agitation, feeling jittery, trouble sleeping, skin redness, itching, rash, missed menstrual periods, impotence, and abnormal ejaculation. Inform your doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away. These are not all the possible side effects of Compazine. Compazine may make you more sensitive to the sun; limit your time in the sun, avoid tanning booths, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. It may also make you sweat less, making you more likely to get heat stroke; avoid doing things that may cause you to overheat, such as hard work or exercise in hot weather, or using hot tubs. When the weather is hot, drink a lot of fluids and dress lightly. If you overheat, quickly look for a place to cool down and rest. Do not use in comatose states or in pediatric surgery. Do not use in children under 2 years of age or under 20 lbs. for conditions for which dosage has not been established.
