Zyban Precautions:
Zyban (Bupropion) should not be used in patients with seizure or with history of seizure. Zyban is also not indicated in those with history of eating disorder such as bulimia or anorexia nervosa. Use causiously if you have high blood pressure, or heart disease. Zyban may influence patient's ability to drive and use machines. It may also potentiate the effects of alcohol and CNS depressants (such as sleeping tablets, antidepressants, antipsychotics, and antiallergy medications). Use cautiously with these drugs and do not take with alcohol. Zyban is not indicated in patients younger than 18 years of age. If at seven weeks of treatment no effect is seen, treatment is recommended to be discontinued on your doctor's advise.
