Lumigan Information:

Lumigan (generic name: bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) is an approved eye drop prescribed for patients with open-angle glaucoma. It is also used to treat other eye conditions that cause high pressure in the eyes and to improve the fullness, length and colour of eyelashes in patients with hypotichosis, which is a condition causing a lack of eyelash growth. Bimatoprost ophthalmic works by reducing intraocular pressure in the eye. It does this by increasing the amount of fluid that drains from the eye. This is the only treatable risk factor in glaucoma. It helps to drain fluid through two separate pathways of the eye, which makes it an extremely effective therapy to help manage open-angle glaucoma. Glaucoma is a condition where fluid in the eye increases pressure, and this can cause irreversible damage to the optic nerves which in turn leads to loss of vision or blindness. There are many different types of glaucoma, depending on the underlying cause of the damage to the optic nerves. Lumigan is directed for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and may not be used for other types of glaucoma. supplies only genuine Lumigan from Canada and India using Canadian or India packaging. This Lumigan is manufactured by Allergan Inc. the worldwide manufacturer of Lumigan. This offer is neither endorsed nor authorized by Allergan Inc. (The United States and Canadian distributor of Lumigan). has no affiliation whatsoever with Allergan Inc.

Lumigan Side Effects:

You should follow the instructions of the doctor who prescribed Lumigan to you. Directions and dosage information can also be found on the pack or leaflet inside the pack. Lumigan comes in liquid eye drop form. To use Lumigan, tilt your head back and pull your lower eyelid down to create a pocket. Gently squeeze on the dropper until one drop falls into the eye, then close your eye and move the eyeball around to ensure the liquid is distributed all around the eye. It is advisable to put a finger over the tear duct to stop the liquid from draining out. Lumigan should be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat.
