It is a combination drug consisting of Epivir and Retrovir, which works in the same way if the two pills were taken separately. Combivir prevents HIV from altering the genetic material of healthy T-cells. This prevents the cells from producing new virus and decreases the amount of virus in the body.
Combivir Side Effects:When taking Combivir, it can cause you to develop fatigue, pale skin, sore throat, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, stomach problems, and shortness of breath.
