Angeliq (Estradiol/Drospirenone) is used for women who have a uterus for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with the menopause. Angeliq (Estradiol/Drospirenone) is also used to treat moderate to severe symptomsof vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with menopause. Angeliq (Estradiol/Drospirenone) should not be used by patients with conditions that predispose to hyperkalemia (ie. renal insufficiency, hepatic dysfunction, and andrenal insufficiency).
The most common side effects are vaginal bleeding, breast pain, and headaches. If you experience any other side effects contact your physician as soon as possible.
