DuoTrav Information:
Duo Trav is a combination drug. Duo Trav composes the active ingredients of Travatan (Travaprost 0.004%) and Timoptic (Timolol 0.05%) into a single vial.
Duo Trav is used to lower raised
pressure in the eye and to treat
glaucoma.
Although Duo Trav helps control
your glaucoma it does not cure it.
Duo Trav is made up of 2 active
ingredients, timolol maleate and
travapost. Travaprost works by
allowing more fluid to flow out from
within your eye(s). Timolol maleate
lowers pressure in the eye by
reducing the production of fluid.
Travapost belongs to a family of
medicines called prostaglandin
agonists. Timolol maleate belongs
to a family of medicines called betablockers.
Your doctor may have prescribed
Duo Trav for another reason. Ask
your doctor if you have any
questions about why Duo Trav has
been prescribed for you.

effect on your eye pressure. It will
also help you remember when to
use the eye drops.
After using Duo Trav, wait at least
5 minutes before putting any
other eye drops in your eye(s).
If you are being changed from
one eye drop to another, follow
your doctors instructions
carefully as to when to stop the
