Benzaclin Information:

Benzaclin is a combination medication gel consisting of an antibiotic (Clindamycin1%) and an anti acne agent (benzoyl peroxide 5%). It is used to treat moderate acne vulgaris consisting of comedones (commonly referred to as blackheads) and imflammatory pustules/papules (the reddish lesions commonly reffered to as pimples). The 2 active ingredients in Benzaclin work by killing the anaerobic bacteria that is causing the acne. It is important to note that Benzaclin will work to treat moderate, NOT SEVERE, forms of acne.

Benzaclin Side Effects:

Benzaclin contains in their formulation an ingredient called Clindamycin.
