Uroxatral (generic name: Alfuzosin Hydrochloride) is a FDA approved drug for the treatment of symptoms in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as enlarged prostate. The active ingredient, alfuzosin, works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and neck of the bladder, which makes it easier to urinate.
