Biaxin Information:

Biaxin and Biaxin XL (Clarithromycin) antibacterial medication is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Biaxin and Biaxin XL (Clarithromycin) is available in a 250mg and 500mg dosage and is usually taken twice daily. Biaxin and Biaxin XL (Clarithromycin) can be taken with or without meals.

Biaxin Side Effects:

Biaxin and Biaxin XL side effects that may occur while taking BIAXIN include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, bad taste in mouth, indigestion, stomach pain or discomfort, or headache. If Biaxin and Biaxin XL side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience Biaxin side effects like emotional or mood changes, confusion, hallucinations, depression, nightmares, or trouble sleeping. If you notice other Biaxin side effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
