Technivie Information:

Buy Technivie

Technivie (Ombitasvir/Paritaprevir/Ritonavir) is a combination medication that contains Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir, and Ritonavir, and is used in the treatment of genotype 4 chronic hepatitis in adults without cirrhosis or with a certain type of cirrhosis. Technivie belongs to a class of medications called antiviral agents. Technivie may be given together with another drug called ribavirin. Ombitasvir and Paritaprevir work by fighting the hepatitis C virus and preventing the virus from replicating. This helps your immune system fight the infection and may help your liver recover. Ritonavir increases the amount of Paritaprevir in the blood to help fight the hepatitis C virus.

Technivie Directions:

Follow all of your doctor's instructions very carefully. Technivie is usually taken for 12 weeks. Do not take this medication in larger or smaller amounts, or for longer than recommended. The monthly carton contains enough tablets for you to take this medication for four weeks (28 days in a row). Each of the four weekly cartons contain seven daily dose packs. Take 2 tablets at the same time every morning with food. You will need frequent blood tests to check your liver function. Hepatitis C is usually treated with a combination of drugs. Use all medications as directed by your doctor. You should not stop using Technivie suddenly. Stopping suddenly could make your hepatitis C harder to treat with antiviral medication. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not remove the tablets from the package until you are ready to take the medication. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Technivie Precautions:

You should not use Technivie if you are allergic to Ombitasvir, Paritaprevir, or Ritonavir, or if you have ever had:

• Moderate to severe liver problems;
• A severe skin rash after taking ritonavir

To make sure this medication is safe for you; tell your doctor if you have ever had hepatitis B, liver problems other than hepatitis C, heart disease, HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), or a liver transplant. Technivie is used in combination with Ribaviren. Ribaviren can cause birth defects or death in an unborn baby. If you are a woman, do not use Ribaviren if you are pregnant. You may need to have a negative pregnancy test before taking Ribaviren and every month during your treatment. If you are a man, do not use Ribaviren if your sex partner is able to become pregnant. While taking Technivie with Ribavirin, use at least two effective forms of birth control to prevent pregnancy, whether you are a man or a woman, and for at least six months after your last dose of Ribavirin. It may not be safe to breastfeed while using Technivie. Ask your doctor about any risk. This medication is not approved for use by anyone younger than 18 years old. Technivie may interact with several other medications especially antipsychotic medications (lurasidone, pimozide), birth control pills or patches containing ethynyl estradiol, hormone replacement therapies such as Fem HRT, a vaginal ring such as NuvaRing, cholesterol lowering medication (gemfibrozil, lovastatin, simvastatin), ergot medication (dihydroergotamine, ergotamine, ergonovine, methylergonovine), or seizure medication (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital). This is not a complete list of interactions and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements you are currently taking or have recently taken in order to reduce the risk of any possible interactions. Taking this medication will not prevent you from passing hepatitis C to other people. Do not have unprotected sex, or share razors or toothbrushes. Talk with your doctor about safe ways to prevent HCV transmission during sex.
