Cleocin Information:
Clindamycin (klin-da-MYE-sin) is used to treat certain vaginal infections. It works by killing the bacteria. This medicine will not work for vaginal fungus or yeast infections.
Use this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. CONTINUE USING THIS MEDICINE for the full course of therapy even if your symptoms improve in a few days. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once
Cleocin Side Effects:Side effects, that may go away during treatment, include genital itching or burning; or irritation not present before use of this medicine. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. ALSO, CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR if you experience new or worsening vaginal or vulvar itching, a white vaginal discharge, painful sex, or diarrhea. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist
