your liver function and if it’s normal then only he/she will suggest

months and periodically thereafter. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue,
loss of appetite, and dark urine are the warning signs of Liver damage.
Inform your doctor as soon as possible if you develop or notice any of these
symptoms. If you have this problem then you have to quit taking Avandia.Sometimes
few people develop or notice low blood sugar, if they are taking other diabetes
drugs along with Avandia. Consult with your doctor, if this happens. Your
doctor will reduce the dosage of other medications which you are taking
along with Avandia.Avandia can be taken by the people who have Kidney problems
but should not be taken with Glucophage. You will not be able to take the
advantage of this combination, if you have poor kidney function. The chances
of conception can be increased if you are taking Avandia. if you don't want
a pregnancy, be sure to use some form of birth control.
For this form of the illness insulin shots are a necessity. Avandia won't
help type 1 diabetics, who are unable to produce any insulin at all.
If you have a problem with fluid retention or swelling, use this medicine
with caution. Avandia has been known to cause this problem, which in turn
can lead to heart failure. Anyone who has been diagnosed with heart failure
should avoid taking this medicine and discontinue taking this medication.
You should inform your doctor, if you have any heart problems. Inform your
doctor immediately if you notice any symptoms of heart failure such as fatigue
and shortness of breath.
People taking Avandia tend to gain a little weight, typically around 5 to
10 pounds, you should be aware of that. The cause is thought to be a combination
of fluid retention and fat accumulation.
Avandia is not recommended for children under 18.
Avandia is used to treat type
II diabetes; Patients with type II diabetes cannot make enough insulin,
and the cells of their body do not respond normally to the reduced amounts
of insulin that are present. (Insulin is the hormone produced by the pancreas
that stimulates cells to remove glucose from the blood). Anti-diabetes medicines,
including metformin or insulin, as part of a diet and exercise program may
be used in combination with this medicine for treatment. |
