What should you tell your doctor before taking LYRICA?

Inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, including if you have
heart problems including heart failure
bleeding problem or a low blood platelet count
any kidney problems or get kidney dialysis

.Inform your doctor about all the medicines you take including prescription or non- prescription medicines, vitamins or herbal supplements. Inform and consult with your doctor if you take:
Any narcotic pain medicine (such as oxycodone), tranquilizers or medicines for anxiety (such as lorazepam). Chances for dizziness and sleepiness can be increased if these medicines are taken with LYRICA.
Always keep a list of medicine with you that you are using and show the list to your doctor before starting or using any new medicine. You should also know about the medicines which makes you sleepy.
rosiglitazone (Avandia®) or pioglitazone (Actos®) for diabetes. The chances of weight gain or swelling is increased if these medicines are taken with LYRICA.




Lyrica is used to treat epilepsy and neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Lyrica (pregabalin capsules) has approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
