Consult with your doctor and pharmacist before taking any prescription or over-the-counter medicines, including herbal products. Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with Lipitor or affect your condition.

Zetia
is used to lower cholesterol in the blood; this medicine may be used alone or in combination with other cholesterol lowering drugs (e.g., HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors or "statins"), along with a cholesterol-lowering diet. Strokes and heart attacks are prevented by reduction in cholestrol. The amount of cholesterol which your body absorbs from your diet is reduced by working of Ezetimibe.
