Do and Dont’s
Things you must do, while you are taking Accupril
Always consult with your doctor, if you are going to start any new medicine,
along with Accupril.
Drink enough water during exercise when you are taking Accupril , especially
if you sweat a lot. You may feel faint, light-headed or sick, if you do
not drink enough water while taking Accupril. This is because your blood
pressure is dropping suddenly. Consult with doctor if it continues or bother
you.
If you have a problem of excessive vomiting or diarrhoea while taking Accupril,
consult with your doctor as soon as possible. Tell your doctor immediately,
if you feel light-headed or dizzy after taking your first dose of Accupril,
or when your dose is increased.
It’s really important if you are taking Accupril for heart failure.
Tell your doctor as soon as possible; if you become pregnant while taking
Accupril.
Your doctor may occasionally do a blood test to check your potassium levels
and see how your kidneys are working, so it is advisable to visit doctor
on a regular basis.
Things you must not do
Do not give Accupril to anyone else, if someone having the same condition
as you.
Do not take Accupril to treat any other medical conditions unless your doctor
recommends you.
Without asking your doctor, do not stop taking Accupril, without checking
with your doctor.Things to be careful of If you feel dizzy, faint, light-headed
when getting out of bed or standing up, get up slowly. Standing up slowly,
especially when you get up from bed and chairs, will help your body get
used to the change in position and blood pressure. If this problem continues
or become worse, then consult with your doctor. |
