Taking other medicines
Before start taking accupril tell your doctor that you are taking any other
medicines, including that you buy without a prescription from your pharmacy,
because some medicines may interfere with each other and these include:-
other medicines used to treat high blood pressure
diuretics, also known as fluid or water tablets
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), medicines used to relieve
pain, swelling and other symptoms of inflammation, including arthritis
potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes
lithium, a medicine used to treat mood swings and some types of depression
tetracycline antibiotics.
These medicines may be affected by ACCUPRIL, or may affect how well it works.
You may need different amounts of your medicine, or you may need to take
different medicines. |
