To treat epilepsy, Lamictal is often combined with other medications, which
as follows:
Carbamazepine (Tegretol)
Phenobarbital (Donnatal, Quadrinal and others)
Phenytoin (Dilantin)
Primidone (Mysoline)
Valproic acid (Depakene) Before combining any other drugs with your seizure
medications, it is necessary to check with your doctor first. Lamictal,
in particular, may inhibit the action of sulfa drugs such as Proloprim,
Bactrim, and Septra. |
