What should you watch for while taking Combivent inhalation?

It is recommended to visit to your doctor or health care professional for regular checks on your progress. if your breathing symptoms do not improve or if they get worse, contact your doctor as soon as possible. Also, you should contact your health care professional immediately, if you find that your inhalers become less effective in treating your symptoms. Even if you do not immediately feel better then also continue to take Combivent regularly and do not stop using Combivent except on your prescriber's advice.

Take the Combivent aerosol spray carefully and do not get it into eyes. Irritation, pain, or blurred vision can be caused by it. Rinse out with plenty of cool tap water, if you get the spray in eyes. If you develop vision problems or eye pain, inform your doctor.

Wait for at least 5 minutes, if you are using any other inhaler or spray such as inhaled steroid. It is advised to use Combivent before using any other spray.
Use your inhaler properly. Do not use extra or more frequent inhalations. They will not improve or better your condition. Once a day, remove the metal canister and rinse the plastic case in warm running water. Replace canister gently without using a twisting motion.

While taking Combivent your mouth may get dry. It will be good if you chew sugarless gum or suck hard candy and drink plenty of water.

Combivent is used to treat or prevent symptoms of asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or other breathing conditions; this medicine is a bronchodilator and a beta receptor stimulant combination. It can also be used in other circumstances for treatment, as if determined by your doctor.
