Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. The dose of Zyrtec medicine can be taken once a day. Before swallowing, chew the tablet thoroughly. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Zyrtec. The full effect of this medicine can be seen after few weeks. Drowsiness may be caused by using Zyrtec. Without knowing about the reactions of this medicine on you do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous. Your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks may be reduces if you use this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol. While taking this medicine, use the alcoholic beverages in limits. Without consulting with your doctor, do not increase your dose or take more of this medicine than prescribed. All prescription and over-the-counter (e.g., cough-and-cold products), medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. These medicines may also contain ingredients which can cause drowsiness. Allergy test results may be interfered by using Zyrtec. Consult with your doctor that for how long period you will have to take the medicine before to these tests. More carefulness is recommended when Zyrtec is used by elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the medicine. For women: Consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. This medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed.
