Xenical Common Uses
Xenical is used in the management of obesity in adult and adolescent patients age 12 and older; this medicine is a gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor. During the weight loss phase or following weight loss to assist in weight management, Xenical may be used. It should be used with a reduced-calorie diet.

Before Using Xenical
There are chances that any other medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine therefore all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist. To assure maximum absorption of the cyclosporine into your bloodstream, Cyclosporine should be taken at least 2 hours before or after orlistat. If you are taking amiodarone than additional observation should be required of your dose or condition. Without consulting doctor do not start or stop taking the medicine.
