Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. Information leaflet is available for patients with the medicine. Read the information leaflet carefully. If you have any questions about this medicine, talk to your doctor. It is recommended that you should take Xenical with or up to 1 hour after each main meal that contains fat up to three per day. You can have side effects from this medicine if you do not take it with low-fat meals. Do not take a dose of this medicine, if you miss a meal or the meal contains no fat. Take Xenical either 2 hours before or 2 hours after, if you are taking a multiple vitamin. And it should be stored at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. Storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is allowed. Any doses should not be missed by you. If sometimes you do not remember that you have taken the dose a day or not then skip the missed dose and take the medicine according to your ordinary dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Xenical. It is recommended not to exceed the dose as prescribed by your doctor. If you exceed the recommended dose, it may increase the risk of having side effects and also it may not make you lose more weight. Absorption of necessary fat-soluble vitamins may be reduced by using Xenical. It would be right for you if you talk to your doctor about using vitamin supplement, to make sure that you are receiving adequate amounts of these vitamins. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. F0R WOMEN: Consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed. Xenical may affect your blood sugar, if you have diabetes. Talks to your doctor before changing your schedule of diabetes medicine and also at regular intervals check your blood sugar levels.
