Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. Ingest the whole capsule. Capsule should not be chewed or crushed, before swallowing. If your doctor has instructed you to take antacids then take it with antacids. If you want a benefit of this medicine then continue taking the dose regularly and take the full course. Even if you feel well do not stop taking this medicine. Any doses should not be missed by you. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose, leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Protonix. At the same time when you are taking this medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. Results of certain lab tests (e.g., false positive urine screen for THC) may be affected by using this medicine. You should inform your doctor and laboratory personnel that you are using Protonix. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. F0R WOMEN: Consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, ask your doctor to discuss the risks to your baby, if you are or will be breast-feeding.
