Pravachol Side Effects
Dizziness or flu-like symptoms are the possible side
effects that may occur at the time you are taking this medicine.
Consult with your doctor if you continue or are worrisome about
these side effects. If you experience muscle pain, tenderness,
or weakness, especially if associated with fever and a general
feeling of discomfort; rash; yellow skin or eyes; unusual bleeding
or bruising; or sore throat then consult with your doctor as
quickly as possible. And if you experience the following side
effects or symptoms of toxicity: swelling of hands, face, lips,
eyes, throat, or tongue; difficulty swallowing or breathing;
or hoarseness then also consult with your doctor as quickly
as possible. Contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist, if you
observe any other effects not listed above.
Pravachol Drug interactions
You can have unnecessary side effects or prevent a medicine
from doing its job, if having drug interactions. If your medicines
interact with each other than use our drug interaction checker.
Pravachol Overdose
Contact your local poison control center or emergency room without
delay, if overdose is supposed to be taken by you.
Pravachol Additional information
If you are overweight, Pravachol should be used along with exercise,
a low-cholesterol/low-fat diet, and a weight loss program. You
should follow all diet prescription given by doctor. This medicine
should not be shared with others to whom it was not prescribed.
For other health conditions, do not use Pravachol. Keep this
medicine out of the reach of children and pets. Obtain refills
before your supply rush out, if you use this medicine for a
comprehensive period of time.
