Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food. Any doses should not be missed by you. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Plavix. Without consulting your doctor do not stop taking this medicine. Consult your doctor promptly and ask whether you should continue or stop taking aspirin with this medication for your specific condition (e.g., aspirin and clopidogrel may be used in combination after a coronary stent procedure) if you are currently taking aspirin with this medicine. Consult your doctor before starting aspirin for any medical condition. Verify the labels on all your medicines because they may contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin). Inform the doctor that you are using this medicine, if you ever have any other medical treatments, emergency care, or surgery. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. Consult your doctor, if you become ill, including a fever. FOR WOMEN: It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed.
