Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food at any time during a day. And it should be stored at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. Even if you feel well do not stop taking this medicine. Any doses should not be missed by you. If you are taking the medicine in the morning and you miss a dose than take it during the afternoon if you remember. If you do not remember even next morning also then skip the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule. Similarly if you are taking the medicine at bedtime and do not remember that you have taken the dose or not and even the next day also then skip the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Paxil. The full effect of this medicine can be seen at least after 1 to 2 weeks, and sometimes up to 4 weeks. For use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age, this medicine is not recommended. Without consulting your doctor do not stop taking this medicine. If this medicine is suddenly stopped then there is a possibility for having side effects. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. At the beginning of treatment with this medicine and also at the time of any change to your dose, additional monitoring of your condition is required. Consult your doctor as quickly as possible, if you experience anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, irritability, hostility, impulsive feelings, severe restlessness, or worsening of depression. If these symbols occur than it shows that your condition is worsening or that your treatment with this medicine should be evaluated. The parent or caregiver of a patient should check for these symptoms if occurs. Consult the doctor as quickly as possible if any of these symptoms occur. For more information, consult your doctor. Drowsiness may be caused by this medicine. Without knowing about the reactions of this medicine on you do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous. While you are taking this medicine, do not drink alcohol. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. F0R WOMEN: Consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. This medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, ask your doctor to discuss the risks to your baby, if you are or will be breast-feeding.
