Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food. And it should be stored at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. Even if you feel well do not stop taking this medicine. Any doses should not be missed by you. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
if you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Norvasc. Without consulting your doctor do not stop taking this medicine. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. It will not relieve the pain of an acute attack if taken at the time of the acute attack, if you are taking this medicine for angina. if you take ‘Norvasc’ on a regular schedule, then only it prevents or reduces the number of angina attacks. Dizziness may be caused by using Norvasc. Without knowing about the reactions of this medicine on you do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous. It is advised to sit up or stand slowly from a seated or lying position to allow your body time to adjust. It may cause a headache, which usually lasts for a short time, when you start using Norvasc. Headache usually becomes less noticeable, with continued use of the medicine. While taking this medicine, it is recommended to take alcohol in limit. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. This includes any medicines that contain ingredients that could increase your heart rate or blood pressure. if you are not sure about which products to use, consult with your doctor. Brush and floss your teeth carefully to reduce swelling and tenderness of your gums, while you are using this medicine. More carefulness is recommended when Norvasc is used by elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the medicine. For women: consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. it is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed.
