For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. If you are not sure for using the medicine then consult with your doctor. Without knowing about the reactions of this medicine on you do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous. While taking Lyrica, some patients with diabetes who gain weight may need to alter their diabetic medicines. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. You may have increased risk for serious side effects, if you drink alcohol so it is recommended not to drink alcohol while taking this medicine. F0R WOMEN: If you are pregnant, it is recommended not to take Lyrica. Consult with your doctor as soon as possible if you think you may be pregnant. It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed. While taking this medicine, ask your doctor to discuss the risks to your baby, if you are or will be breast-feeding.
