Lolo Information:

Buy Lolo

Lolo (Norethindrone Acetate/Ethinyl Estradiol) is used by women to prevent pregnancy. It contains two active ingredients: Norethindrone acetate and Ethinyl estradiol. Lolo belongs to a group of medications called birth control pills or combined oral contraceptives. Norethindrone acetate is a progestin, which is a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone. It works by thickening the cervical mucus, making it more difficult for sperm to enter the uterus and fertilize an egg. It also changes the lining of the uterus, making it less receptive to implantation. Ethinyl estradiol is a synthetic form of the hormone estrogen. It works by inhibiting the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which are hormones that stimulate ovulation. Without ovulation, there is no egg for sperm to fertilize, and pregnancy is prevented.

Lolo Directions:

This medication is available in tablet form. The pack comes with 28 tablets, with 24 tablets coated in blue color containing active hormones (Norethindrone Acetate/Ethinyl Estradiol) to be used for 24 days, 2 white tablets (containing only ethinyl estradiol) for 2 days, and 2 lilac-colored tablets (containing no hormone) tablet daily for the remaining 2 days. The lilac and white-colored tablets are intended to be taken during the menstrual period to help regulate the cycle.

Start taking Lolo on the first day of your menstrual period. If you start taking it on any other day, you should use a backup method of contraception (such as condoms) for the first seven days. Take one pill at the same time every day, preferably with food or at bedtime. If you miss a pill, take it as soon as you remember, even if it means taking two pills in one day. If you miss two or more pills, use a backup method of contraception for seven days and consult your doctor. Also, if you experience nausea or vomiting within two hours of taking Lolo, it may not be fully absorbed, and you should take another pill as soon as possible. If you experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting, especially during the first few months of taking Lolo, do not stop taking the pill. This is a common side effect and should improve over time.

Various clinical trials have shown Lolo to be an effective form of contraception with a low risk of serious side effects when used correctly and under the guidance of a healthcare provider. The risk of getting pregnant while using this medication increases when it's not used properly. The active ingredients in Lolo (Norethindrone Acetate/Ethinyl Estradiol) have a varying half-life (the time taken for half of a drug to be eliminated from the body). The average half-life of Norethindrone Acetate is about 8-12 hours. The half-life of Ethinyl Estradiol, the other active ingredient in Lolo, is longer, at about 24 hours. Therefore it is important to use this medication regularly to maintain a steady concentration in your body for effective prevention of pregnancy. Keep Lolo in its original blister pack until you are ready to use it. Do not remove the pills from the blister pack until you are ready to take them. Store Lolo at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C). Keep Lolo away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat. Do not store Lolo in a bathroom or other humid place. Keep Lolo out of reach of children and pets.
