It absorbs this fat by attaching to the enzymes in the digestive system and breaking the fat down, which cannot be absorbed now and thus is passed through the body naturally.
Alli (Orlistat) cause side effects such as bowel changes where you have gas with oily spotting, loose stools, and more frequent stools harder to control. If you are consistent and eat a low-fat diet, then it will reduce these bowel changes. It is suggested that you limit your fat intake to an average of 15 grams per meal. To reduce any side effects it is recommended that you start reducing the fat intake prior to taking Alli.
