Bondronat is a type of medication that reduces the turnover of bone in the body. It is used to prevent bone damage (fractures, bone complications requiring radiotherapy or surgery) in people with breast cancer that has spread to the bone. It can also be used to treat tumor induced hypercalcaemia with or without metastases.
