Avage Information:

AVAGE is an elegant formulation that has been proven to effectively reduce facial fine wrinkles and certain types of dark and light spots on your face.

AVAGE can reduce facial fine wrinkles to make your skin noticeably smoother. AVAGE contains the active ingredient tazarotene. Tazarotene is a retinoid, a potent prescription medication. Although scientists do not know how tazarotene works, they believe that it works below the skins surface to provide proven visible results. AVAGE can diminish and fade these types of discoloration to give your skin a more even tone. Clinical studies have proven that AVAGE provides significant visible results when used as part of a total skin care and sunlight avoidance program. It does not completely eliminate wrinkles. Nor does it repair sun-damaged skin, reverse skin aging from the sun, or bring back more youthful or younger skin.

Avage Side Effects:

Generally, the possible skin side effects are mild to moderate. Itching, burning/stinging, redness, irritation, swelling, dryness or skin pain may occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Notify your doctor promptly if any of the following effects occur: worsening of the original skin problem, skin rash or skin cracking, discoloration or bleeding of the skin, severe skin redness/irritation/burning/stinging.

Contact with the eyes may result in mild to moderate irritation (burning or stinging). Avoid contact with the eyes.

Avage Directions:

Follow these simple directions to get the most out of your treatment with AVAGE Cream:
1. Use AVAGE Cream once a day in the evening.
2. Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser and allow to dry.
3. Apply a pea-size amount of AVAGE Cream to lightly cover the wrinkled or discolored areas of your face. Remember that MORE IS NOT BETTER.
4. Wash your hands after application.
5. MOISTURIZE as needed before or after AVAGE Cream. Apply the second cream or lotion after the first one is absorbed and the skin is dry.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Use a moisturizer before or after applying AVAGE Cream. Just be sure your skin is dry before applying the second product.
Protect your face from extreme wind or cold.
Try to limit your sun exposure, wear protective clothing, and use an SPF 15+ sunscreen during outside activities.
Be aware that astringents, medicated or abrasive soaps and shampoos, and permanent wave solutions may have strong drying or irritating effects. Avoid depilatories, waxes, and electrolysis.

Tell your doctor if side effects become problems. Your doctor may adjust your dose of AVAGE Cream. However, the effectiveness of AVAGE Cream when used less often than once a day has not been proven

Avage Precautions:

AVAGE Cream may harm your unborn child. Women who can become pregnant must have proof they are not pregnant from a reliable pregnancy test, done within 2 weeks before starting therapy. Talk with your doctor about effective birth control if you are a woman who can become pregnant.
