This medicine is taken orally and may be taken with or without food. This medicine is taken orally once or twice daily. Can be taken with food if stomach upset occurs.

If you have angina or have had heart problems, do not suddenly stop using this medicine without first consulting your doctor. If your doctor decides you should no longer use this medicine, you must stop this medicine gradually according to your doctor's instructions.

Since this medicine has an affect on your heart rate, use caution when exercising. This medicine can cause dizziness or drowsiness. If your are diabetic, this medicine may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar such as a rapid heartbeat. Carry an identification card with your to let doctors and emergency personal that you are taking this medication.

Some of the more common side effects with this medicine may include: dizziness,tiredness or lightheadedness.

Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur: difficulty breathing, depression, cold hands and feet or swelling of feet and lower legs.
