Nexium Information:

Nexium (Esomeprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat heartburn, or gastroesophageal reflux. Nexium (Esomeprazole) may be used in combination with two antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and duodenal ulcers. Nexium(Esomeprazole) may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor. SWALLOW Nexium (Esomeprazole) WHOLE. DO NOT chew, or crush the Nexium (Esomeprazole) tablet. Take Nexium (Esomeprazole) at least 1 hour before a meal, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.

Nexium side effects that may go away during treatment, include headache, constipation, cough, or diarrhea. If Nexium side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience Nexium side effects like throat pain, chest pain, severe stomach pain, or coffee-ground vomit.Nexium side effects are unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if Nexium side effects occur. Symptoms of an Nexium side effects include rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
