Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. Ingest the whole capsule. Capsule should not be chewed or crushed, before swallowing. It is recommended not to sprinkle the contents of the capsule on food or mix with liquids. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food. And it should be stored at room temperature below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. It will be more beneficial if you take this medicine regularly. Take the medicine daily at same time so that you remember to take it regularly. Even if you feel well do not stop taking this medicine. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose, leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Cymbalta. The full effect of this medicine can be seen after few weeks. Without consulting your doctor do not stop taking this medicine. There are possibilities that if the medicine is suddenly stopped, the conditions may become worse. When the medicine is to be stopped your dose may need to be slowly lowered to avoid side effects. Before you start taking this medicine and during treatment to monitor your progress or to check for side effects, your Laboratory and/or medical tests including blood pressure should be done. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. At the beginning of treatment with this medicine and also at the time of any change to your dose, additional monitoring of your condition is required. Consult your doctor as quickly as possible, if you experience anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, irritability, hostility, impulsive feelings, severe restlessness, or worsening of depression. If these symbols occur than it shows that your condition is worsening or that your treatment with this medicine should be evaluated. The parent or caregiver of a patient should check for these symptoms if occur. Consult the doctor as quickly as possible if any of these symptoms occur. For more information, consult your doctor. You can have side effects for having this medicine with alcohol so avoid taking alcohol. The risk for liver damage may be increased if alcohol is taken with this medicine. Drowsiness may be caused by using Cymbalta. Without knowing about the reactions of this medicine on you do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous. Your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks may be reduces if you use this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. When using this medicine in children, carefulness is recommended because they may be more sensitive to the effects of this medicine. F0R WOMEN: Consult with your doctor about all the benefits and risks of using this medicine if you plan on becoming pregnant especially during the third trimester. It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed.
