Directions
For using this medicine, follow all the instructions as given by your doctor. The dosage of this medicine is taken once in a day. It depends on your medical condition and interaction with other medicines that what will be your dosage. For more details, Contact your doctor or pharmacist. The dosage of this medicine can be taken with or without food. After taking Crestor for atleast 2 hours, do not take antacids. And it should be stored at room temperature in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. If you want a most benefit from this medicine than take it regularly. Even if you feel well do not stop taking this medicine. Any doses should not be missed by you. Take the medicine at same time daily so that you do not forget to take the medicine. Take the medicine immediately if you miss the dose and remembered on the same day but if it’s the time for your next dose, leave out the missed dose and take the medicine according to your regular dosing schedule, do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
If you have had an allergic reaction or are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine than do not take Crestor. The full effect of this medicine can be seen after 2 to 4 weeks. It is recommended not to exceed the dose as prescribed by your doctor. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. To observe your progress or to check for side effects, Laboratory and/or medical tests including liver and kidney function tests and blood cholesterol levels may be done. Inform the doctor or dentist that you are taking Crestor, before having any medical or dental treatments, emergency care, or surgery. You may have increased risk for serious side effects, if you drink alcohol daily. Use the alcoholic beverages in limit. All prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist while you start taking any new medicine. More carefulness is recommended when Crestor is used in Japanese or Chinese patients because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the medicine, especially the effects on the muscles. For more details, consult with your doctor. F0R WOMEN: If you are pregnant, it is recommended not to take Crestor. Consult with your doctor as soon as possible if you think you may be pregnant. It is not known if this medicine is excreted in breast milk. While taking this medicine, do not breast-feed.
