Celebrex is used to relieve pain and swelling (inflammation); this medicine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known as a COX-2 inhibitor. Treatment of arthritis, acute pain, and menstrual pain and discomfort are done by using Celebrex. It can also be used in other circumstances for treatment, as if determined by your doctor.

Before Using Celebrex
There are chances that any other medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine therefore all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking should be known by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are taking fluconazole, lithium, "water pills" (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene), high blood pressure medicines (e.g., ACE inhibitors such as captopril and lisinopril), corticosteroids such as prednisone, "blood thinners" such as warfarin, other NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or other COX-2 inhibitors such as rofecoxib or valdecoxib than additional observation should be required of your dose or condition. Storage

Celebrex should be stored at room temperature 25°C (77°F) in a tightly-sealed container and in a dry place and away from heat and direct light. Storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is allowed.
