Advair Side Effects
Hoarseness (dysphonia), throat irritation, headache, cough, or dry mouth or throat is the possible side effects that may occur at the time you are taking Advair. Consult with your doctor if you continue or are worrisome about these side effects. If you experience white patches on tongue/mouth or if your mouth/tongue becomes swollen and painful then consult with your doctor as quickly as possible. And if you experience any of the following unlikely but serious side effects: weight gain, vision changes, trouble sleeping, tremors, seizures, severe muscle weakness or cramping, fast/irregular heartbeat, numbness or tingling in hands or feet, chest pain, or worsening of asthma symptoms (e.g., increased difficulty breathing, wheezing, coughing) then also consult with your doctor as soon as possible. After using this medicine (paradoxical bronchospasm), your wheezing might actually increase immediately. Use your "quick-relief" inhaler (such as albuterol), if this situation occurs. If you’re breathing does not improve at that time, than look for immediate medical attention. Contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist, if you observe any other effects not listed above.

Advair Overdose
Contact your local poison control center or emergency room without delay, if overdose is supposed to be taken by you. Seizures, chest pain, unusually fast/irregular heartbeat, severe muscle weakness, muscle cramping, and fainting are symptoms of overdose.

Advair Additional Information
Always carry an identification card that says you are taking Advair. At the same time when you are taking the medicine, keep all doctor and laboratory appointments. Before you start taking this medicine and during treatment to monitor your progress or to check for side effects, your laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., IOP, children's rate of growth) should be done periodically. It will be beneficial for you to learn about how to use a peak flow meter, and use it daily. It is recommended to report on time if your problem worsening (such as readings in the yellow or red range or increased use of quick-relief inhalers). Asthma attack may be caused by smoke, pollen, pet dander, dust, or molds so try to avoid such irritants. This medicine should not be shared with others to whom it was not prescribed. For other health conditions, do not use this medicine. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Obtain refills before your supply rush out, if you use this medicine for a comprehensive period of time.
